Primates Game and Water Excursions

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, your safari guide will meet you and accompany you throughout your journey.
  • Begin with a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which will take approximately 6-7 hours. Along the way, you'll pass through picturesque green countryside and traditional Ugandan villages.
  • During the journey, make a stop at the Equator for a brief photo session.
  • Arrive at the park in the afternoon, check into your accommodation, and settle in.
  • In the evening, embark on a short game drive to spot wildlife such as elephants, buffalos, antelopes, and possibly even lions.
  • Return to your lodge to relax and savour the savanna views.

Day 2: Explore Queen Elizabeth National Park and Enjoy a Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

  • Kickstart your day with an early morning game drive to witness predators and other wildlife at their most active.
  • After the game drive, return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and some relaxation.
  • In the afternoon, indulge in a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, where you'll have the chance to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species.
  • Marvel at the animals quenching their thirst along the channel banks.
  • After the 3-hour excursion, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trek and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

  • After breakfast, embark on a thrilling chimpanzee tracking experience in Kyambura Gorge.
  • Following the tracking adventure, depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and head northward to Murchison Falls National Park.
  • En route, take a break at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda with habituated wild rhinos. You can choose to trek on foot or take a brief drive, with the experience lasting approximately 2 to 3 hours.
  • Continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your booked lodge for some downtime.

Day 4: Explore Murchison Falls National Park

  • Begin your day with a morning game drive into Murchison Falls National Park, led by your guide. Explore the diverse environment and anticipate sightings of the Big Five and other wildlife.
  • After the game drive, enjoy a bush breakfast in the wild before returning to your lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
  • In the afternoon, embark on a Nile River excursion with wildlife viewing opportunities. Cruise down to the powerful Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gap in the rocks, only 7 meters wide, before flowing into Lake Albert.
  • This 3-hour cruise offers excellent views, relaxation, and chances to spot wildlife and diverse birdlife along the riverbanks.
  • After the excursion, return to your lodge for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 5: Departure

  • Start your day with a hike to the top of Murchison Falls, which offers stunning views of the waterfall and the Nile River. The hike is relatively easy.
  • Following the hike, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport, concluding your memorable trip.

Note: This itinerary is designed for flights arriving in the morning. For late-night or evening flights, overnight stays in Entebbe and its surroundings may be considered. Lunch breaks will be accommodated en-route to your destinations.
