Day 1: Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide to the beautiful destination known as the "pearl of Africa." You'll then be taken to explore Entebbe town, with the option to visit the Entebbe Zoo (UWEC) if time allows. Afterwards, you'll check in at the vibrant Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla Forest National Park

Today, we embark on a journey that takes approximately 8 hours and covers 462.5 kilometres to reach the enchanting tropical Afro-montane moist Bwindi forest. If you prefer a faster option, you can take a private ride to Kajansi Airstrip and catch a flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Upon arrival, our driver guide will assist you in a short 46-kilometre drive to your lodge in Bwindi Forest.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading to the park headquarters. Here, you'll receive a briefing and be assigned a ranger guide who will lead you into the jungle to track the gorillas. Enjoy a magical 1-hour encounter with your chosen gorilla family and then return to the lodge to relax. Please note that gorilla trekking is physically demanding, requiring the ability to walk long distances in search of these gentle apes.

Day 4: Departure and Return to Entebbe

After savouring a mouthwatering breakfast, it's time to check out and catch a scenic flight back to Entebbe town for your onward journey. We recommend a morning flight to allow for some rest from jetlag.

• Gorilla trekking is undoubtedly one of the most thrilling African adventure safari activities. Uganda offers some of the best gorilla trekking, tracking, and habituation experiences. Gorilla trekking is typically popular during the high/peak season from June to September. However, it can also be done during the drier months of December through February. It's important to note that trekking permits can sell out quickly due to high demand, so availability may be limited in some months.
• Alternatively, gorilla trekking can still be enjoyed during the rainy season from March to May. During this time, there are usually more trekking permits available for both Bwindi and Mgahinga, and accommodation costs are often more budget-friendly.
